Position Overview:
Corenet Tech (UK) Pvt Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Security Analyst to support our growing IT operations team. This role is perfect for someone early in their cybersecurity career who is eager to apply their knowledge and help protect company systems and data in a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor network and system activity to identify and report unusual behavior or potential threats.
- Assist in maintaining and updating firewall rules, antivirus software, and access controls.
- Help review and manage user permissions to ensure secure access to systems and data.
- Support regular security audits to detect inefficiencies and potential threats in existing systems.
- Assist with investigating and documenting security incidents, working closely with senior staff to resolve them.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in system security by identifying weak points and proposing solutions.
- Stay informed on cybersecurity trends and best practices through training, webinars, or workshops.
